Who should I use to host my website?

You can’t have your own website unless you have hosting. The host is kind of like a place that has a computer with all of your website files on it.
I’m not sure exactly how it all works, except that it does!
When deciding on a hosting provider you should check to see if they offer the following:
- They are reasonably priced
- They allow for good bandwidth
- You can have unlimited email addresses
- They must offer good customer support (24 hour support is best)
- You can create databases for Wordpress, forums, etc
- You can have unlimited domains under the same account at no extra cost
I use Hostgator and am very happy with their service. They back up your account once a week, so if you forget to back up yourself, you can rest assured that your site information won’t be lost forever if something unforeseen happens.
