When designing your website or deciding on what content you want to include, it is important you develop a website that will sell whatever it is you are selling.

Fancy images or flash do not sell. On the other hand, if your website is packed full of information and tips related to your chosen niche, then your likelihood of making a sale is that much greater.

Below is a list of some of the things you should consider when deciding on the content to include in your website:

1. What are your target market asking for? Search using http://freekeywords.wordtracker.com to identify the search terms entered into the search engines. Your content should include these keywords.

2. Design or find a product that solves a problem or answers specific questions relating to the niche.

3. What’s in it for the buyer? Don’t just talk about the features of the product you are promoting - talk about how the product will benefit your buyers.

4. Your website must be easy to navigate. If people can’t find their way around, they will leave.

5. Post regular content. People want to see up to date, relevant content when searching for answers.

So it really doesn’t matter what your website looks like, but rather what is contained within the pages on your website that really makes a difference.

Consider this when embarking on your next project!
