No more “Revolution”

I have a heap of posts on this website that talk about the Revolution themes, and I’ve been meaning to post again, to say they’re not available anymore unless you pay a developer (like me!) who has them, to build your website.

I still love the themes, although I think the newer (and more fabulous!) Studiopress themes are even better!

They are soooo much easier to configure and you can even choose whether to use a logo or text in your header through the use of a dropdown box in Wordpress’s dashboard. VERY easy! In the old days, I would have to replace some header code to create the same effect!

Studiopress themes

If you have had a good browse through this website you will remember me raving about the Revolution themes I have used for both my websites and many of my client’s websites.

The Revolution themes are no longer being offered as such, however you can now get even better themes through Studiopress.com!

Brian Gardner (the Revolution man!) has teamed up with another fellow to create these themes that look extremely professional and they are easy to work with.

It is no secret that I love the Revolution themes, however I am going to post in this part of the website whenever I find another type of theme I like.

When building sites for some of my clients I come across some good ones and I think “Hmm! I wouldn’t mind using that one!”

So in future, I’ll be telling you all about these ones so stay tuned!

Revolution News has had a facelift

Doesn’t this design look fabulous!?  I’ve had a play with the demo and can tell you this design features drop down menus, up to 6 featured tabs items, RSS email subscription option, video, advertising (including Google Ads for added revenue for your business), other advertising spaces and of course plenty of allowances for images. Revolution City

Revolution’s latest available theme is Revolution City and as usual, it looks great! If you have a website that requires a lot of images, then this theme is definitely for you.

This theme comes in both blue and grey but of course I could probably customise the colour to suit your needs.

There is room down the right side for advertising too, and we could incorporate Adsense into this if that is what you want.
