Why do things keep going wrong?

"You can’t do the same thing over and over again and expect a different outcome".
This is the same for making money online.
Be honest with yourself here. Are you really following a particular strategy to the letter, or are you back into your old habit of procrastinating or doing other things that do not help your cause?
Take responsibility for your current situation and believe me, you will start to see results!
Work out what your goals are, know the strategy you plan to follow and follow it - to the letter for 30 or even 90 days (depending on the strategy). If you can honestly say at the end of 30 days that you gave it 100% but with no results, then it is time to sit down and work out what you did wrong, and therefore what you must change.
If you don’t make changes, then you will continue to see the same results.
I see people all the time who make thousands and even millions of dollars online. I also see people who follow the same strategies without making any money whatsoever.
Look at what successful people do and model yourself on them. Learn from their mistakes, take their advice and act on it.
Your success is 100% up to you and you alone.

There are plenty of FTP programs out there to allow you to transfer files to your website, but the one I use (Filezilla) I find is the best.

How to find out what keywords pay per click advertisers are using

My mentor emailed me the details of this nifty tool that “spies” on your potential competition!
Pay per click advertising involves opening an account at Google and paying them to list links to your website based on specific keywords.
The more appropriate the keyword and what you’re prepared to pay, the higher on the page your link will appear, therefore increasing the chances of your website being found.
If you decide you want to advertise using pay per click advertising, you will be able to take your struggling internet business and almost instantly turn it into a profitable business!

Under promise and over deliver!

You have written your ebook and maybe offered some audios or videos as an added bonus.
Another very important thing to consider is that over-delivering impresses every time!
Give your buyers more than you originally promised. Maybe send through an additional report offering further tips not covered in your ebook. Send through some more audios that might be of interest.
To increase the perceived value of your product, why not turn it into an e-course? You could include the audios and videos too.
Some people prefer a “tangible” product, so for an additional fee you could do what I have done and offer a printed version of the ebook and a DVD containing the audios or videos, rather than sending the lot via email.
The number of things you can do is really limited only by your imagination. It’s time to get creative!
Should I recruit affiliates?

Jean Paul Getty once said “I would rather earn 1% of 100 people’s efforts than 100% of my own efforts”.
So how can you get 100 (or even more!) people to start selling your products?
The answer is easy - Clickbank!
Ok, it doesn’t have to be Clickbank because there are plenty of other sites out there that offer the same services, but Clickbank is better known and is great for selling digital products products, such as ebooks, audios and videos.
So how does it work?
You set up your product in Clickbank and a potential affiliate marketer will come along and see your product and decide to promote it on their website (or through various other methods) by using a special code that is unique to them.
If they get a sale, they will automatically be paid a percentage, usually around 50% (my preference as a minimum) and this is all handled by Clickbank - all you need to do is get the product on there! It’s as easy as that!
If you have invested in an autoresponder service that offers it, you can also offer an affiliate program direct from your site too. There’s no harm in running both (which is what I do).
How do I automate my business?

If you want to set your business up properly, then you must set yourself up with a decent autoresponder.
An autoresponder will send emails for you, it will handle product sales, and it will even help you to create opt-in forms. Go to
1ShoppingCart for details of the autoresponder I use.
Here’s a list of what your autoresponder (depending on who you use) can do for you:
- Send out regular newsletters
- Handle email subscribers
- Handle product sales
- Handle your affiliates
- Will send out email broadcasts to a group of subscribers for you at a set time
- Lots lots more - visit the site mentioned above for more information. Otherwise you can check out Aweber or GetResponse who are a little cheaper, but of course you get less functionality!
This is an important part of your online business in that it will do all of the work for you, literally while you sleep! I can’t think of a better feeling than to wake up, check my emails and see I had made some money during the night! Woo hoo!
Driving traffic

Driving traffic to your website isn’t as hard as you think.
Below you will find a list of some (and definitely not all!) things you can do to attract website traffic.
Write articles - writing articles about your niche with a link in your bio back to your website is a great way to attract traffic.
Submit your site to social and bookmarking sites - These sites allow you to submit the URL of a particular site or blog post, giving a brief description of what the site or post is about. Some even update whenever you post to your own website. Search in Google for other bookmarking sites and we have 3 huge lists of them and these will be provided to our coaching clients as a bonus.
Create podcasts and videocasts - Audio and Video are rapidly increasing in popularity. Using free audio programs such as Audacity, or uploading your videos to YouTube can quickly and easily improve your website’s popularity if you remember to let the listeners/viewers know where to find you!
Offer a free newsletter or report - Find a way to get people to give you their email address. Any updates you send out will then drive traffic back to your site. You can even offer free video tutorials! This is very important as it’s your way of collecting their name and email address and therefore building your list!
Pay per click - Google offers ways of paying for traffic. Using pay per click advertising means you are bumped up towards the top of the search engines (do you remember seeing links on the right side of the page in Google?) and if someone clicks on your link, you pay a price determined by your limits, the keyword and where your advertisement is located on the list.
Post regularly - Make sure you post relevant content whenever you can! You must keep updating your site to keep people coming back, and to attract new people. The search engines love it (well, experience tells me they do!), and so will the visitors to your website!
Do I need a website?

If you’re promoting affiliate products, then in some cases you may not need a website, however these days there seems to be a lot of restrictions in directing people directly to an affiliate product so in my opinion you are definitely better off with a website.
They are cheap and easy to set up and if you set yourself up with the right hosting account, then you can host unlimited domains on the one account.
While your website doesn’t have to be fancy, it does need to look professional, it must contain relevant content and it must be easy on the eye.
I suggest you always make sure your text is black (or close to black) with a white or pale background, otherwise it is difficult for your visitors to read.
If you’re not at all technically savvy, then I suggest you either hire someone to do it for you (a web developer), or you can even learn to do it yourself.
Keep an eye out on this website for information on the soon-to-be released internet marketing coaching program (where we can coach you every step of the way, from registering your domain name, through to creating a product, to driving traffic to your website) if you want a head start.
There are plenty of other options available to you if you’re not prepared to spend the money, although my question would be to you, “What do you want to achieve?”. Sometimes you need to spend money to make money.
